how do you install a bass tube in a 2007 corolla?
Its a spx ss06080a. It didn't come with any directions...please help!!!!
if it is one of those bass tubes with a built in amp it should have come with all the wires, obviously you can find out which cable hooks up to where just by looking at the ends, i cant really tell you where to run the wires but its usually not that hard to figure out, most of the plastic pieces on the inside of your car just pop off if you pull on them hard enough, (you wont break them, they are made to be pulled off and popped back in) to pull the stereo system out you will need to go down to a shop that does installations and ask them if they have the keys for your brand of stereo. use a flathead screwdriver to pop off the piece of plastic that surrounds the outside edge of the face plate and insert the keys on either side (left and right) and pull, on the back of the unit you will most likely see two inputs for the left and right audio (white = left, red = right), (if you don't you will see another input, just look at the cables to find out which one fits in it) also there will be an REM cable, you will need to ask a professional to locate the cable you attach it to and put it on with a clip, they will probobly give you one they only cost a few cents (the clip clamps down on the end of the REM wire after you strip the end of it, and the other end of the clip clamps down on the cable it attaches to and cuts through the rubber coating so it gets a connection) also make sure the red wire you attach to your battery is the last wire you hook up, otherwise you may cause damage to your cars electrical system, this can also happen if you dont hook up the ground correctly, to hook up the ground find a bolt somewhere in the trunk of your car and unscrew it and clean off the area very well, use sand paper if there is paint in the way and simply put the cable on the bolt and screw the nut back on, hope this helps and good luck
