Can you put a tremolo bridge on any guitar?
I have an Epiphone SG and I'd like to put a tremolo bridge on(prefereably a Floyd Rose), but I can't tell by looking at the pictures if it will fit. Are they supposed to be compatible with any guitar?
No, it won't fit.
If you REALLY want a tremolo, you can use a Kahler tremolo. One of their models use the existing hardware on your guitar for mounting so there is little or no modification necessary.
Kahlers are FAR better than Floyds.

To warm up for a practice session spend a few minutes going up the guitar neck in the first position playing frets 1 2 3 4 and then down 4 3 2 1 using alternating up and down strokes with the pick.
