Warranty Laws? Faulty Product?
I bought a new trace elliot 1210 bass amp in august 2007, 2 weeks after buying i had to return to the shop i bought it from because it was faulty they send it back to the company to fix it. now again the same problem had occurred again but the shop i bought it from has gone outta business now i have to pay postage to send it back to them to be fixed. it weighs 40KG !! there is a 5 year warranty on the item i was wondering what my rights are if the product should have to same fault after i get it back from the repair shop? please help

Trading standards IS the best approach but it might be worth calling the manufacturer and asking them if they will pay the postage, afterall it is their product that is at fault. You might be lucky enough that they just send you a new amp, you don't know until you ask!
