Should the Bank officers of the failed banks that received federal money have their employment terminated?
Should they be prosecuted under the federal anti-racketeering laws (RICO), have their assets seized, and set to prison for the maximum allowable term without parole?
Or should we bail them out with federal tax dollars, pay off their bad gambles, let them keep their ill gotten gains and let them walk. Or maybe just swat them on the nose and place them under house arrest? The fraud that they perpetrated against the American taxpayer is not any different that what Bernie Madoff or R. Allen Stanford did to his investors, just on a much larger scale.
I doubt it will happen with Eric Holder as AG. He doesn't have the moral courage needed for the task. Remember, he worked on a pardon for Marc Rich, the fugitive billionaire tax evader once on the FBI's Most Wanted List whom Clinton cleared.
Yes they should be.Will they be? I doubt it.
