Strat Guitar

What if my guitar is strat style?
My guitar is strat it not a stratocaster but its strat style and can i still make all the cool sounds like the ones in metal music like high squeels and low "jow jig jig jow" sounds?
haha, jow jij jow
Yeah, it doesn't really matter the style of your guitar. Tone and technique is up to the person playing the guitar. High squeels are called Pinch Harmonics and can be done on any guitar at high volumes with distortion. The jig thing you were mention, I'm thinking is palm muting which can be done on any guitar.
I play Fender strats but I learned on an off brand strat style. I can tell you that I can take the same techniques and apply them to both guitars. The difference I've noticed is the quality of sound coming from the Fender strat compared to the Johnson strat. You can still tell that its me playing, because its my tone...but it has a different feel to it because of the quality of instrument.
So yes, you can but quality of sound goes up with quality of instrument (or pickups, electronics, wood, etc)
Have fun, man
EDIT:
I was thinking Jow Jig Jow may have been a wah effect. In which you would a use Wah.

Fender Guitars-How Much Do You Really Know About Fender Guitars
Since their inception, Fender guitars have stood for both quality and stylish design. Fender guitars are considered the best musical instrument in their category. Too many guitar heroes (real and would-be), Fender guitars represent the iconic electric guitar. Jimi Hendrix's electrified version of "The Star-Spangled Banner" shows what Fender guitars can do.
Bass
The Precision Bass® was born in 1951, forever changing music and giving birth to a new kind of musician – the electric bassist. As a note of interest, when referring to the bass it can also be called electric bass or bass guitars. The bass is similar in appearance to an electric guitar, but with a larger body, a longer neck and scale length, and, usually, four strings tuned an octave lower in pitch, thus result in the bass range.
Electric
Fender's first solid-body electric guitar was introduced in 1950. Solid-body electric bass guitars were also a Fender innovation. But as the man whose company perfected the solid-body electric guitar, his contribution to contemporary music cannot be overstated. Fender offered the first mass-produced solid-body Spanish-style electric guitar, the Telecaster (originally named the 'Broadcaster'; 'Esquire' is a single pickup version) the first mass-produced electric bass, the Precision Bass (P-Bass); and popular Stratocaster (Strat) guitar.
Acoustic
Recognizing that country music and acoustic guitars were increasing in popularity, Fender expanded upon its acoustic guitar line. While guitarists in the early part of this century played country, folk or blues on acoustic guitars, in the 1930's, jazz musicians experimented with amplifying traditional hollow-body guitars so they could play with other instruments at the same sound level.
The older and American built Fender guitars are generally the most favored, but pre-1990 Fender Japan guitars are now highly regarded as well. The entire line of American-made Fender guitars are built at the Corona factory, which is capable of making over 350 guitars each day. In the initial years Fender guitars were only acquired from offshore manufacturers but quality control led to the establishment of different manufacturing facilities across the world.
