Skillet: Guitar help!!!?
I have a very good epiphone les paul that cost me $900 bucks with pro alnico II pickups, a RP90 pedal, a boosta grande pedal, and a fender frontman 25 amp. I need to know what setting for the amp AND the pedal would be good together to play Skillet songs...Im a big fan of what they sound like live. What confuses me the most is the middle setting....if its too low it sounds weird and if its too high it sounds weird!!!!And its very hard for me to get my pedal EQ and my amp EQ to go together, since both of them have treble, middle, and bass settings that are able to change. Please help!!! I dont like sounds that sound too Trebly with hardly any bass...its sounds like crap. So give me the settings i need to set my amp for, and what setting i need to set my pedal for. Treble, bass, and middle settings, please.

If you want their exact sound you need the same amps, the same guitar, the same pedals (if they use some) and the same pick. But you should use some sub and put your treble to about 8 and your bass to about 4 or 5 and your mid to about 5. Try the same settings on your pedal and get all the sounds the same volume level. For example, make your pedal the same volume as the amp when the amp is clean.

Can you sound like Dan Donegan using the metal hardwire pedal by digitech?
I also have an RP90 and the Boosta Grande by BBE, which has the digitech grunge pedal built into it, as well as the digitech death metal pedal!! Can I use all this to get a sound like dan's?(Hhaha lol and a fender frontman 65 watt amp!!)
Um...if possible give me the best setting for the pedal and amp like 6bass, 7middle, and 6treble and for the pedal 5bass, 8middle, and 7 treble. ok lol!
Number one, im not that young. Number two, I write my own songs and we have regular gigs ever month. I want to know how to get a similar sound to Dan to play Inside the Fire and Indestructable and Stricken live as a few bonus songs. So I am half artist/half coverband, I guess you could say!

Here's a great idea, instead of sounding like ________, create your own sound by learning to master the guitar that you have. Create music that is good for you and about you and sounds like you.
Then you can be an "artist" instead of a clone.
