How to hook up a Mic to an amp?
Having problems hooking up a pzm 11 mic, toa amp, with toa d-001 module. no sound from mic over the speaker. levels are turned way up on i/p and o/p of amp. tried line level mic as well with no luck. phantom power on module. tried different wiring configuration in case of miswiring problem, used all possible combinations, still no luck. any ideas?
From PZM mic 1=shield goes to 1 on D001T mod(BTW I hope you use a T module not a R that is for line RCA input),2 goes to 2 and 3 to 3.Activate the phantom power and use a digital multimeter to check if you have 24V between 1 and 2 , 1and 3 connectors(+ must be on 2 and 3).Also if you touch 2 or 3 with your hand you must hear a loud humm in speakers!!!
