Stratocaster Sunburst
Heey everyone I'm from Australia and im heading to new york and i want to buy a fender stratocaster?

ive never been to new york before and i have no idea where to start looking. id b looking for a sunburst one, and preferably a vintage model. maybe a re issue eg. 62/ 57 and even a second hand one would do. so yeah if anyone has any tips on where i might start looking. oh and obviously id want it to be reasonably priced. i really appreciate the help thanks!

I would suggest checking with "Sam Ash". They are a huge store chain and give very good service and have good prices and a huge selection. In N.Y. City their number is (212)719-2299. Brooklyn(718)951-3888.
Sorry, somehow overlooked the "vintage" thing. I'd still check with Sam Ash, they sometimes have vintage and great prices on new. They'll have new "Vintage" models.
Ludlow Guitars (212) 353-1749 has many vintage guitars.
Edit: Hey, there's another store called Guitar Center that will probably have about a dozen vintage Strats. Manhattan 212-463-7500.
Both Sam Ash and Guitar Center have other nearby stores also.
