Strap Gigbag
Strap Gigbag

Is this a good bass?
I'm looking for a bass guitar and I have no idea what to get. Can some of the more knowledgable people out there tell me if the following details sound like a good guitar:
*43" Total Length
*Hardwood body
*Maple Wood With Truss Rod Neck
*Rose Wood Finger Board
*20 Frets
*Split P-B P/U Pickups
*Volume Knob
*Tone Knob
*Gigbag
*Shoulder Strap
*Pick
*Extra Strings
Does this sound like a good deal or a rip-off? I'm not sure what, for example, the length of a guitar is supposed to be. Can someone please help? thank you.
Do you have a brand name, or a price? The total length is not as important as the scale length (nut to bridge saddle). Maple neck and rosewood board are fairly standard. 20 frets tells me it's a short-scale bass. Controls you describe are also fairly standard. The other stuff is nice but can be bought seperately.

Silvertone guitars are they any good?
What do you guys think i just bought one but im not sure what do you think of this:
The Silvertone SD Series Acoustic Guitar Pack sets a new standard for price/value. This complete package includes the SD Series dreadnought (full) size acoustic guitar with natural top, mahogany stained back and sides, rosewood fingerboard and step-up quality die-cast tuning machines. To assure you have everything you need to get started, Silvertone also includes a digital electronic tuner, guitar carry gigbag, guitar strap, strings, picks and chord chart. Natural Finish
No.
Silvertone is shit. I'm not joking when I say this, they are poorly-made equipment that aren't worth the materials theyre made out of.
Nothing that comes in a "kit" is worth it. Except maybe (MAYBE) Epiphoen stuff.
Please, go to an actual music store and pick up something worth the money you're spending on them. A nice starter acoustic is a Yamaha.
