Reverb Tank
does anybody know how to connect a reverb tank for a guitar amplifier?

I have a fender twin amp (pro-tube series 100watts). The accutronics reverb tank has the RCA connectors labeled Input & Output. Both connectors on the reverb tank are white yet my RCA cables and the connectors on the amp are color coded red and white. I am not sure which accutronics connector is associated with red or white. I am trying to troubleshoot why my reverb went out which prompted me to take a look at the reverb tank. I am going to buy a new RCA cable to eliminate the cheapest thing first. If that doesn't work I might buy a new reverb tank. I've had my amp for a few years now. Just a few weeks ago, the reverb doesn't have any effect now. I still get sound when I switch on reverb but it's lacking the reverb sound. So then I need to know how to hook up the white & red connector to input or output of the reverb tank (the amp's RCA connectors are already color-coded). Then I would like to know any suggestions on what could be the problem or what to look out for.

red goes to input white goes to output, when reverb
is activated and you pound on top of amp do you get a thunder sound throught the speaker if yes reverb tank is okay maybe bad reverb pot.
