gibson les paul studio vs prs tremonti singlecut se?
I am looking to buy a guitar for under $700.I have a friend which is looking to sell his gibson les paul studio 2003 and it is in good condition with the exception of some wear on the gold hardware and small dings on the back side,he is selling this guitar for close what i am asking for and if it is drastically better i'll pay the extra.The guitar also has an ebony fretboard and trapezoid inlays,not the binding.I am also thinking of buying a prs singlecut tremonti se,I like the tremonti se vs the other se singlecuts because of the neck binding and 2 volume and 2 tone knobs.Why is the tremonti cheaper than other singlecut se.Any input on either of the 2 guitars quality wise and value for the money would be greatly appreciated. If there are any other guitars around that price range with the exception of epiphone or squire that could compete quality wise please let me know. If one guitar is better than the other please give the reasons for it being better. Thanks for the advise.
