If not..
what type does an mxr pedal use?(mxr distortion m104) to be exact
no they don't. if you go on behringer.com and search for ac adapter, they come with an adapter that has all the outputs possible. here's the link

What other pedals are a good combination with distortion pedals?
I play mostly hard rock and metal and currently own a Line 6 Spider IV amp, a Dunlop Crybaby From Hell Wah pedal, and an MXR Fullbore Metal pedal. So, any suggestion for fun combinations.
Try a chorus effect, there are many available of varying qualities, so try a few out first before you buy, but chorus sounds coolest when accentuated with a wah and some distortion. You might also like a phase shifter, ala EVH.
