how does an electric guitar sound that is made from a kit you order?
How does anyone rate the sound of these guitar kits. What is the best kit to order from a do it yourself guitar kit? I am thinking of buying one from grizzly's mag. You know the tool company.
Guitars are like anything else-you get exactly what you pay for. If you want, start with the entry-level grizzly or Saga kit, see if it's for you, then work your way on up. The nice thing about those is that all you really have to do is the sanding, painting and maybe some soldering. My brother's done two Martin acoustic kits-lots of work involved- and they are both great sounding. But if you're a DIY type, the Grizzly is a great way to start.

Any time you go to practice with your band or go to a show you really need to keep your guitar protected. Walking around with your guitar over your shoulder is asking for trouble. Say you look across the street at something and don't notice someone or something in front of you, you walk into it and who knows what you could do to your guitar. Even at home there's the risk of it being damaged. If you leave it propped up against a wall, chair, or bed, whatever there's every chance that its going to fall over and do some damage, either to the guitar or what ever it falls onto.
A guitar case has many uses as you can see. If you really care about the guitar you should invest in one before you plan on going anywhere with it.
