What would be a good order to put my guitar effects in?
I have a fender starcaster flanger, danelectro chili dog octave, dunlop original crybaby, digitech death metal distortion, digitech bad monkey overdrive, first act 222 distortion, and a danelectro FAB chorus. what would be a good order to put these? ordered guitar -> [effects] -> amp
Hi, John! Try placing the CryBaby first, followed by the Flanger, then the overdrive and distortion pedals. Next would come the Chili Dog Octoave, and finally the Fab Chorus. If you have a delay or reverb pedal, it should be last. You may want to switch some of the pedals around to get a different sound, but Guitar>Wah>Compressor>Overdrive>EQ> Pitch>Modulation>Level>Echo>Amplifier is a fairly standard formula. What type of guitar effects pedal should I use to make it sound like Jerry C. when he plays Canon Rock? ?
What do i use to make my guitar sound like Jerry C.'s guitar when he plays Canon Rock? Very apperciated if you gave me the 'type' of effects pedal and not a company that makes them.
A little bit of reverb and delay, but not so much that it makes individual notes mush together. Actually im not sure if he uses those effects for the majority of the song... just the intro. Maybe some reverb in the song but again not much.
