Grade Peel
Grade Peel
No idea what makeup colors I should wear. Can someone help?
I'm getting married in November. I haven't really worn makeup since 7th grade when it was crazy blue eye shadow. I know that is not the look for me. I have curly brown hair that falls past my shoulders, brown eyes and I'm pretty white. I don't tan, I burn and peel and go back to being white. I don't want to look like I'm wearing a ton of makeup, but I know I need to wear some for pictures. Can someone please help?
well for a wedding, definately get a professional makeup artist!
colors that i think you should use [ i would have to see a picture to really help you ], are golds and dark browns.
since you have a pale skin tone [ i do too
], don't use bronzer! it will just make you look dirty. stick to natural light pink blush, and a nude lip.
The Techniques Used in Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is an advanced method of removing the dead skin cells from the outer layer of the skin to make room for new and healthy skin to develop.
The term "microdermabrasion" may conjure up thoughts of hospital stays and anaesthetic, there is no anaesthetic involved in this type of procedure and it is relatively painless. You can have this procedure done by a dermatologist or by an esthetician at a spa. It is used for removal of scars caused by acne or overexposure to the sun and in some cases it can be used in treating acne. It does require more than one treatment to achieve positive results in revitalized skin.
The techniques of microdermabrasion and other aesthetic procedures such as medical grade peelings, have improved in recent decades. Today, instead of using crystals to remove the dead skin, the practitioner uses a wand containing a rough surface to rub over the surface of the skin. In this procedure, the tiny particles of the wand remove scarred or discolored tissue on the epidermis and polish the skin. If the scarring is deep, the doctor or esthetician may have to use needles to break the scar tissue into small pieces.
Crystal microdermabrasion is still used, but is not as common as diamond microdermabrasion and home microdermabrasion systems. All used enhanced methods of exfoliating the skin. In the technique using crystals, tiny crystals are blasted onto the skin. The diamond technique does not use any crystals. In this procedure the practitioner uses a diamond tip head to make contact with the affected areas of the skin to abrade against it and suck off the dead skin cells.
Home kits for microdermabrasion are gaining in popularity as more and more people want to exfoliate the skin on their bodies in the privacy of their own homes and of course, this is a much cheaper alternative. While they are not as powerful as the other two systems and require longer periods of time before you see any results, they are an effective way to cure acne and remove scar tissue. The contents of the home kit can vary depending on the brand name of the system you purchase. Most of these systems do contain four basic components:
• Cream
• Hand piece
• Foam head
• Post treatment serum
When choosing a home kit so that you can perform microdermabrasion (http://www.vfhcinc.com/aesthetic.html) yourself, there are certain things you should look for. The cream that comes with the kit should contain ingredients that will soothe the skin and act as an anti-inflammatory agent at the same time. This will help your skin feel better and you won't have any sensitivity to using the applicator. The best creams are those that contain shea butter or cucumber extract.
Not all of the home kits do contain a foam head. This is an important component to look for when choosing a system because the foam head helps to evenly distribute the cream to the area you want to exfoliate. One head will last for about 12 or 15 treatments and you can purchase replacements. You just have to make sure that you do wash it thoroughly after each use. The hand piece is a standard component in all kits, but there are differences among them. Some are simply made of plastic, while others contain batteries and vibrate so that they massage the skin while they exfoliate. You can also get hand pieces in which you can set the intensity to match your skin sensitivity. Since the microdermabrasion can leave your skin feeling dry, it is important that you use a serum, which is a moisturizer, following each home treatment to soothe the skin.
