Help with a new band?

Ok so my three friends and I made a new band called fRame of fRiend$. We aren't very good yet because we don't quite know how to practice together. I know this may sound odd but we have recorder, ele. guitar, and keyboard and our singer get VERY nervous singing in front of the boy member in our band. Any tips for stage fright, and tips on how to rise our band up higher and get some things going? Also tips for genres of music to be? Thanks.

Once we get enough money we are going to ditch recorder and get a drumset

Sing music you like or be more comfortable singing.
She needs to get over her stage fright, I don't know how. But I'd tell her not to think about it, when people come to see you. They expect the singer to be the most charismatic one and the one who talks to the audience and pumps them up, etc. So tell her to get over it and not to think about it. She shouldn't worry about the boy, who care what he thinks?
