Dunlop Crybaby
Dunlop Crybaby
The Dunlop Crybaby 535Q?
What are the advantages of having the 535Q model instead of the original model? Is it really worth paying the extra $250 for?
Do you mean extra 25$ ? Yes, it is absolutely worth it. I own one, I wanted a wah pedal that was pretty versatile, and I definitely got that. This pedal can modify the range of its sweep, how wide its sweep is, and how deep that sweep is as well. I can do quite a bit with it, and it has a solo boost button built in as well.
I think just the ability to modify the range is super cool, but adding the extra tweak knobs really helps make it the Dunlop wah pedal to get.
Its tone is more neutral than the Dimebag wah, for instance, and can be used in other genres and styles with more ease.
So yeah, I think its worth it. If I lost mine or it got stolen, I would get another one, no questions asked.
