is it possible to use a pc as a digital guitar amplifier?
i hav a desktop pc with a normal sound card n a subwoofer speaker system. is there some software which can turn my pc into a digital guitar amp? do i need any extra accessories? is it possible to incorporate effects like distortion, chorus, overdrive, flanger, reverb etc. through that software? plz provide detailed answer
Yes, especially with a nice little gadget like the Behringer USB Guitar (look it up).
With a regular guitar (meaning one with a 1/4" jack), you can use a piece of software like Guitar FX (look it up).
