What's the difference between these two electric guitars?
The Fender American Standard Stratocaster and the American Deluxe Stratocaster?
Hello! Essentially, the Deluxe model gives you better pickups (Samarium Cobalt Noiseless), more tone flexibility (the S-1 switching system) plus an upgraded tremolo bridge, locking machine tuners, and provision for Schaller strap locks. The upgraded parts by themselves cost more than the $300 difference in price! I was disappointed to see that Fender was no longer offering the LSR Roller Nut on the Deluxe model, but it is still a terrific package of added options. Best regards, Dana
