What is a fan picture?
Ok, I'm REALLY sorry if I sound blonde, and I'm really sorry if that sounds stereotypical, but my friend asked me to, well, here's how the conversation went:
Him: You look really cute in that pic, bbe.
Me: ty =] I'm nt very good at takin pics. They end up all blurry lol
Him: I could help, maybe give you sum tips. I'm into photography.
Me: Yay! =D
Him: I could even edit some in photoshop for you. Oh hey, could you do me a fan picture? That would be so cool!!!
Only problem is... I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT IS!!! xD Can someone tell me? Thanksyoooooooooooou!
It sounds like he is becoming a "Fan" of yours and would like you to send him a self-portrait that he can make his wallpaper on his computer.
I may be all wet, but that is what it sounds like to me.
Before you start learning the incorrect meanings for certain photographic terms, here are two misused ones for you.
Editing: Editing is the process of sorting out the good images from the bad and then putting the good ones into folders that describe the subject of the image .. like Landscapes, Nature, People, Pets, well you get the point.
What people call "editing" here is really digital darkroom manipulation of images. A lot of the time, people are trying to "save" images that lack the photographic skills necessary to make them spectacular.
If you ever have images like that show up, rather than spending the money (for Photoshop) and time (hours and hours especially before you learn now to use it), it takes a lot less time to reshoot. That is what they had us to at photo school

Guitar sound effect help.?
I heard Hendrix do some sort of thing with his Guitar that after he played a chord, the chord would sustain for a little bit, then slowly it would turn in to a siren like sound, how does he do that?!?
Any help will bbe much appreciated

It was just feedback from his amps. The amps were "over-driven" and it made it easy to get a lot of feedback between the guitar & amp. The feedback can be changed in several ways and giving off different sounds.
