Ladies: Do deep bass notes stimulate your body?
This is an honest question.
I'm not trying to be rude or vulgar so don't waste yours or my time with an ignorant response.
I know I can feel deep bass notes as a rumble/vibration in my body so I was just wondering.....is that possible?
I have different responses. In some cases if the notes are very very deep, perhaps an extremely low Hz, I feel afraid. It's probably bordering on infrasound, which can disable or perhaps even kill. Infrasound waves occur naturally during earthquakes, tsunamis, and other dangerous natural occurrances. No wonder they are frightening. If it is a warm friendly sound - such as you might hear from an accoustic bass instrument in a jazz or Reggae band, I feel wonderful. But I don't like the other kind, especially if it is someone in a car going through the neighborhood late at night with deeply booming bass. Also, sometimes helpicopters going over our house can cause the whole house to vibrate!
