Ernie Ball Bass guitar...?
I want to get an Ernie Ball Musicman bass (first bass), but I don't know which model to get. I've only heard the Bongo before, and it sounded pretty good. Please tell me the cost of one, (I have a small budget, I don't think I can get one under $1000) and what a piezo is. (I think it's just another knob, idk?) IF YOU HAVE SUGGESTIONS FOR A DIFFERENT BASS, PLEASE SAY SO, BUT NOT RUDELY! I will be playing Primus, Pixies, Replacements, AC/DC, Dinosaur Jr., a little bit of Green Day, Iggy Pop, Mission of Burma, Minutemen, Minor Threat, Velvet Underground, RHCP, etc.

Where can I find information on the history of MusicMan basses and their specifications?
I want to know every detail about the original MusicMan basses and their amplifiers from the when the company began to when Ernie Ball bought the company.
I want to know exact details on all of the origianl basses and amplifiers made by MusicMan from when the first started until Ernie Ball bought the company. The MusicMan website doesn't adress any details of the history and I couldn't find any websites in a Yahoo search. Thank you for your help.
